Hi, my name is Carmen Lopez and I am a design researcher and user experience designer working to create products and services that empower people and help them thrive.
I am originally from Ecuador and have lived in Treviso (Italy), New York City, and I’m currently based in Long Beach, California. Being exposed to many cultures, I consider myself a translator between worlds, between languages, and between concepts and visual thinking.
I currently work at Nava, a Public Benefit Corporation that works to make government services simple, effective, and accessible. Previously, I worked with the Digital Studio team at Arup, a global consultancy for the built environment on projects at the intersection of people, place, and technology.
